Although the pathway to approvals for CAV and CAM transport is still evolving, running trials in London helps us learn lessons and build the evidence required to underpin policy and regulation. SMLL is uniquely positioned to help businesses and public sector bodies to answer crucial questions: Is it safe enough? How will the new service interface with existing transport services? Who will benefit most?

SMLL’s work with customers in the public and private sector will help inform the way standards and regulations are developed. London’s Smart Mobility Living Lab testbed will provide continual learning and feedback to keep legislation relevant.
