SMLL Innovation Community Membership benefits update
The SMLL Innovation Community provides a platform for collaboration and showcasing among various stakeholders, including academic institutions, government bodies, private companies, and other organisations. By collaborating with other stakeholders, organisations can gain access to additional resources, knowledge, and expertise, which can be leveraged to enhance proposals.

New for 2024: Senior leaders roundtables. The roundtables will offer CEOs and senior leaders of large organisations the opportunity to converse and develop white papers which can be shared with the wider community
New for 2024: Facilitation of working groups based on the needs of the Innovation Community with guest speakers from National Highways, Local Authorities and other key decision makers managing the UK’s roads and highways.
Events and webinars will focus on the themes which are important to the Innovation Community comprising investment and funding, legislation, net zero and decarbonisation, electrification, autonomy and data sharing.
TRL experts: membership includes consultancy from experts at TRL covering 40 specialities for example, legislation, data analytics, tech safety, business development, behaviours, funding acquisition, horizon scanning, standards and much more!
Delegations: Members are invited to meet international trade delegations and attend key meetings with government departments to showcase their product and/or services
Industry events and webinars: Discounted or free access to industry events / conferences. Plus informative monthly lunchtime webinar series on topics which are insightful and informative to SMLL IC members
Partnerships and collaboration: SMLL works with key partners such as London & Partners and the Royal Institution, signposting members to new business connections
Members have access to hot desking , free WIFI and coffee / tea at SMLL at its ergonomically designed office in Woolwich, just a short 3 minute walk from the tube and train stations. Plus the use of the event space for large meetings or presentations.
Members receive monthly industry insights, new reports and members are promoted at SMLL and on all social channels.
