Innovation Community networking event Feb 2022: Digitisation of Transport

The Digitisation of Transport is gathering pace. So the SMLL Innovation Community chose it as the topic for their first networking event of the year, held at Plexal. For a 3 minute taster of the highlights watch our video (thanks to all those who were keen to offer their opinion of the event!)

As well as presentations from TRL, Women in Transport and the National Centre for Universities & Business, the assembled JourneyMakers were treated to an indoor drone demonstration from Fotokite.

Six members stepped up to tell the group about their business mission and its place in the transformation of new mobility: Admiral, Appyway, April6, EXEROS Technologies, Humanising Autonomy, Virgin Media O2.

And for a bit of intellectual stimulation, TEDx speaker Robbie Stamp gave 70+ brains a workout on the topic ‘The Power of Metaverse’.

The conversations continued over drinks and canapes and collaboration schemes were born and nurtured.
