With SMLL’s roadside infrastructure fully operational, we are actively delivering projects on many topics. The SMLL team are working directly with individual businesses or business consortia on these projects, whilst also preparing to provide more extensive services in partnership with industry, regulators, standards developers and members.

Planning and delivering real-world user trials of CAM technologies, with full management, design, safety case, trial coordination, data capture and analysis support as required
Providing safety oversight to on-road CAM testing
Developing monitoring and evaluation methods for new mobility platforms and CAM services

Defining use cases and city needs for technology trials and customer research
Using SMLL infrastructure to capture real world data
Creating real world data sets to accelerate training of AI systems
Remote operation support for automated vehicles
Utilising pop-up infrastructure (self-contained infrastructure nodes which can temporarily extend or create new networks) for trials support and in-field data gathering
